Possible Causes
Dirty mop cloth stored damp, Stagnant water left in tank, Mold growth inside tank or on seals, Dirty underside of robot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the mop module and water tank.
- 1. Wash mop cloth: Thoroughly wash the mop pad with hot water and mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before reuse.
- 2. Clean water tank: Empty the tank and rinse it with warm water. If allowed by Yeedi, use a mild vinegar solution, then rinse thoroughly.
- 3. Dry components: Leave the tank and mop plate open to air-dry fully before reinstalling.
- 4. Wipe robot underside: Clean the underside of the robot, especially around the mop attachment area, with a slightly damp cloth and then dry.
- 5. Prevent recurrence: After each mopping session, remove and dry the mop cloth and empty the water tank.
Warning: Do not use bleach or strong chemicals inside the tank unless explicitly approved; they can damage seals and internal parts.
