How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the water tank. Keep electronics away from spilled water.
- 1. Inspect tank exterior: Dry the tank and look for visible cracks or damage.
- 2. Check seals and caps: Remove and inspect rubber seals and caps for deformation or debris. Clean and reseat them firmly.
- 3. Leak test: Fill the tank and hold it over a sink. Observe for drips from seams, caps, or outlets when not installed in the robot.
- 4. Replace tank: If any cracks or persistent leaks are found, replace the water tank assembly.
- 5. Dry robot base: Wipe any moisture from the robot and dock thoroughly before reuse.
Warning: Do not continue using a leaking tank; water can enter the robot and cause electrical damage.
