Possible Causes
Battery capacity severely degraded, Robot misjudging battery level, Dirty charging contacts causing poor charge, Firmware navigation bug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the dock is on a stable, open floor area.
- 1. Full recharge: Place the robot on the dock and charge for at least 4–6 hours until the app shows 100%.
- 2. Clean contacts: Wipe the robot's and dock's charging contacts with a dry cloth to ensure good electrical connection.
- 3. Battery test: Start a cleaning cycle and monitor runtime. If it stops and returns to dock within a few minutes repeatedly, the battery is likely worn out.
- 4. Firmware update: Use the Yeedi app to check for firmware updates that may address navigation or battery reporting issues.
- 5. Replace battery: If runtime remains very short after full charges, replace the battery pack.
Warning: Do not continue to run the robot on a failing battery; deep discharge can damage the pack further.
