Possible Causes

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No HVAC power work is needed.
- Check internet connection: Verify that other devices in the home can access the internet. If not, contact your ISP.
- Test with mobile hotspot: Temporarily connect the thermostat to a mobile hotspot (if supported) to see if it can reach the cloud. If it works, your home network is blocking traffic.
- Router settings: Ensure that outbound HTTPS traffic is allowed and that no parental controls are blocking the thermostat’s MAC address.
- Wait and retry: Sometimes American Standard cloud services may be undergoing maintenance. Wait 30–60 minutes and try reconnecting.
Note: Local thermostat control should still function even if E13 is present.
