Possible Causes
Wireless sensor not in pairing mode, RF interference from other devices, Too much distance or walls between thermostat and sensor, Faulty wireless radio in thermostat or sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No mains work is usually required, but do not open sealed electronic modules.
- Move closer: Bring the wireless sensor within a few meters of the thermostat and remove major obstacles (metal cabinets, thick concrete walls) during pairing.
- Replace batteries: Install fresh, high-quality batteries in the wireless sensor, observing polarity.
- Enter pairing mode correctly: Follow the Ariston manual to put both thermostat and sensor into pairing mode (often holding a button for several seconds). Wait until the thermostat confirms pairing.
- Change RF channel (if available): In the installer menu, select a different radio channel to avoid interference from Wi‑Fi routers or other RF devices.
- Test in final location: After pairing, move the sensor to its intended location and check signal strength in the app or thermostat diagnostics.
