Possible Causes
Incorrect zone module addressing, Miswired actuators on manifold, Wrong zone names or assignments in thermostat, Faulty zone control module output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power to the zone control module and boiler before rewiring.
- Verify addresses: Check DIP switches or rotary selectors on each Ariston zone module and ensure they match the configuration in the thermostat.
- Test each zone: From the thermostat or app, call for heat in one zone at a time and observe which actuators or radiators respond. Correct any miswired outputs at the zone module.
- Rename zones: Update zone names in the app to match the physical rooms to avoid confusion.
- Replace faulty output: If one zone output never activates despite correct wiring, the module output may be defective and require replacement.
