Danfoss Ally radiator thermostat does not physically move the valve pin during setpoint changes; no motor sound is heard.

Safety first: Remove batteries before removing the thermostat from the valve.

Steps:

• Replace batteries: Install new alkaline batteries and wait for the thermostat to start calibration.
• Listen for motor: After inserting batteries, listen for motor movement. If silent, attempt a factory reset via the button sequence.
• Check for obstruction: Remove the thermostat and ensure nothing is blocking the drive spindle.
• Replace thermostat: If the motor never runs despite correct power and reset, the motor or drive electronics are faulty; replace the Ally radiator thermostat.
