Possible Causes
Delta Dore Tydom gateway offline, Wi‑Fi router not providing internet, Incorrect pairing between thermostat and Tydom, Firmware incompatibility
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting is low risk, but do not open mains-powered devices unless power is isolated.
- Check Tydom gateway status: Verify that the Tydom or Delta Dore smart gateway LEDs indicate normal operation (steady power, active network). If LEDs show fault, power cycle the gateway.
- Verify internet connection: Confirm that your router has internet access by testing another device. If the router is offline, restore internet first.
- Reboot thermostat: Power cycle the thermostat (remove batteries or switch off the circuit for 1–2 minutes). After restart, wait a few minutes to see if E06 clears.
- Re-pair with Tydom: In the Tydom app, go to Settings > Add device and follow the instructions to add or re-add the Delta Dore thermostat. On the thermostat, enter pairing mode via Menu > Connectivity > Pairing.
- Update firmware: If available, update the Tydom gateway firmware via the app. Some E06 issues are resolved by firmware updates.
If E06 persists and other devices connect fine to Tydom, the thermostat’s radio/IP module may be defective and require replacement.
