Possible Causes
Corrupted RF module firmware, RF module not seated correctly on main PCB, Strong RF interference, Hardware failure of RF chip
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening any mains-powered thermostat.
- Restart devices: Power cycle both the thermostat and the Tydom or central gateway. Wait 5–10 minutes for the network to rebuild.
- Check distance and obstacles: Ensure the thermostat is within recommended range of the gateway or a repeater module. Avoid metal cabinets and thick reinforced walls.
- Factory reset network settings: On the thermostat, go to Menu > Connectivity > Reset network (or similar) and then rejoin the network via the app.
- Inspect RF module (advanced): If the thermostat has a plug-in RF/Zigbee module, remove the front cover and gently reseat the module on its connector. Do this only with power off.
If E07 remains after resets and re-pairing, the RF module or main PCB is likely faulty and should be replaced by a professional.
