Possible Causes

Actuator out of RF range, Actuator battery depleted, Actuator not paired or removed from system, RF interference or metal obstacles

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: When working near radiators or manifolds, be cautious of hot surfaces.

  • Check actuator power: For battery-powered Delta Dore radiator actuators, replace batteries and ensure the display/LED is active. For mains-powered zone modules, verify power supply.
  • Reduce distance and obstacles: Ensure the actuator is within range of the thermostat or repeater. Avoid enclosing actuators in metal cabinets or behind thick walls.
  • Re-pair the device: Put the actuator into pairing mode (refer to its manual) and use the thermostat or Tydom app to add it again. Confirm that it appears in the device list.
  • Check RF environment: Move Wi‑Fi routers or other RF devices away from the thermostat/actuator if they are very close and retest.

If E14 persists for a specific actuator despite good batteries and re-pairing, the actuator’s RF module may be defective and require replacement.
