Smart radiator thermostats (TRVs) heat when they should be off, despite room thermostat being satisfied.

Possible Causes
TRVs not correctly bound to room thermostat, Incorrect room assignment in Wiser app, Stuck TRV valve pin, Firmware mismatch causing desynchronisation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: TRVs are battery-powered; no mains isolation is usually required, but always follow manufacturer guidance.
- Check room mapping: In the Wiser app, ensure each TRV is assigned to the correct room and controller thermostat.
- Reset and rebind TRVs: Remove the TRV from the app, reset it according to Drayton instructions, then re-add and assign it to the correct room.
- Check valve pin: Remove the TRV head and ensure the radiator valve pin moves freely and returns under spring pressure. Free gently if stuck.
- Update firmware: Use the app to update TRV firmware to the latest version.
