How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: All mains work must be done with power isolated and by a competent person.
- Check supply connections: Inspect live, neutral, and earth connections at the Drayton receiver and fused spur. Tighten any loose terminals.
- Separate supplies: Where possible, supply the thermostat/receiver from a stable circuit rather than sharing with large motors.
- Fit suppression: Ask a qualified electrician or heating engineer to fit appropriate suppression (e.g. snubber or RC network) across pump or valve coils if recommended by the manufacturer.
- Monitor behaviour: If flicker persists but the thermostat functions correctly, it may be cosmetic. If it resets or malfunctions, consider replacing the receiver or thermostat.
