Possible Causes
HubR located too far from devices, Few mains-powered repeaters in system, Thick walls or metal structures blocking signal, Devices installed in metal radiator covers
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate mains before moving the HubR if it is hard-wired.
- Reposition HubR: Move the Wiser HubR to a more central location in the property, away from metal objects and large appliances.
- Add repeaters: Install additional mains-powered Wiser devices (e.g. smart plugs or room thermostats) to strengthen the Zigbee mesh.
- Avoid metal enclosures: Do not install TRVs inside metal radiator covers or behind thick metal grills.
- Rebuild network: After moving devices, allow time for the Zigbee mesh to rebuild, or power-cycle devices to encourage new routes.
