Possible Causes

Excessive distance or thick walls between thermostat and receiver, RF interference from Wi‑Fi routers or other 868/433 MHz devices, Receiver not powered or in pairing mode, Failed RF module in thermostat or receiver

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Wireless troubleshooting is low risk. Only open the receiver with power isolated.

  • Check receiver power and status:
    • Ensure the receiver LEDs are on and not indicating a fault.
    • If LEDs are off, check the power supply and fuse.
  • Reduce distance and obstacles:
    • Temporarily move the room thermostat closer to the receiver (same room if possible).
    • Avoid placing the thermostat near metal objects, fridges, or distribution boards.
  • Re‑pair the devices:
    • Press and hold the pairing button on the receiver until the pairing LED flashes.
    • On the thermostat, enter the pairing menu and start the pairing process.
    • Wait for confirmation that pairing is successful and F07 clears.
  • Check for RF interference:
    • Move Wi‑Fi routers or cordless phone bases away from the receiver if they are very close.
  • If F07 persists even at close range:
    • The RF module in the thermostat or receiver may be defective.
    • Replace the Ferroli wireless room thermostat or receiver as appropriate.
