How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting only.
- Check internet connection:
- Verify that other devices on the same network can access the internet.
- Restart network equipment:
- Reboot the router and modem.
- After internet is restored, reboot the Ferroli thermostat.
- Check router firewall:
- Ensure that outbound connections are not blocked for the thermostat's IP address.
- Disable overly strict parental controls or firewall rules temporarily to test.
- Update firmware:
- In the Ferroli app or thermostat menu, check for firmware updates and install if available.
- If F09 persists:
- Contact Ferroli support to confirm if there is a known cloud outage.
- If not, they may advise advanced network settings or replacement of the smart thermostat if its cloud module is faulty.
