Possible Causes
Schedule disabled or set to Hold, Incorrect time or time zone on Geo thermostat, Overlapping schedule events, Firmware bug in scheduling module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No high‑voltage work is required.
- Step 1 – Check current mode: On the thermostat or in the Geo app, verify that Schedule mode is enabled and that the thermostat is not in a permanent Hold.
- Step 2 – Verify time and time zone: Ensure the thermostat's clock and time zone are correct. Incorrect time can cause schedule events to trigger at the wrong times.
- Step 3 – Review schedule: Edit the schedule and confirm that events are set for the correct days and times, with no overlapping or conflicting entries.
- Step 4 – Clear and recreate schedule: Delete the existing schedule and create a new one from scratch, then monitor behavior for 24–48 hours.
- Step 5 – Firmware update: Update the thermostat firmware via the Geo app to address any known scheduling issues.
