GLAS App Pairing / Discovery Failure

Thermostat will not connect to the mobile app or cannot be discovered during setup, even though Wi‑Fi is working.

Possible Causes

Phone not on same network as GLAS, Router blocking multicast or mDNS, Outdated GLAS or app version, Cloud account linking issue

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No electrical work required.

  • Step 1 – Same network check: Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network as GLAS during setup.
  • Step 2 – Router settings: Enable multicast, UPnP, and mDNS/Bonjour on your router. Disable client isolation or AP isolation.
  • Step 3 – Update software: Update the GLAS app on your phone and ensure GLAS firmware is current.
  • Step 4 – Reboot devices: Reboot your phone, router, and GLAS thermostat.
  • Step 5 – Factory reset (last resort): If pairing still fails, factory reset GLAS and attempt setup again from the app.
