Thermostat cannot be paired with the RF receiver during installation

Safety: Isolate mains power before opening the receiver casing. Pairing itself is low‑risk.

Steps:

• Reset the RF receiver to factory defaults using the procedure in the Glow‑worm manual (often holding a button for several seconds until LEDs flash).
• On the thermostat, start the pairing/binding process from the installer menu.
• Restore power to the receiver and press the pairing button within the specified time window.
• Perform pairing with the thermostat close to the receiver to minimise RF loss.

Remedy:

• If pairing fails repeatedly, try another known‑good thermostat or receiver to isolate which unit is faulty.
• Replace the defective RF receiver or thermostat as required.
