Thermostat display is very dim or hard to read

Steps to improve display visibility:

• 1. Adjust brightness: In the thermostat display settings, increase the active and idle brightness levels.
• 2. Check ambient light mode: If the thermostat uses an ambient light sensor, disable auto-dim or adjust its sensitivity if possible.
• 3. Verify power: Ensure the thermostat is powered by R and C and not relying on batteries only. Low voltage can dim the display.
• 4. Replace thermostat: If the backlight remains dim even at maximum settings, the LED backlight may be failing and the thermostat should be replaced.
