Nest thermostat shows N5 and cannot connect to the Nest app via Bluetooth during setup

Bluetooth disabled on phone, Too far from thermostat, Interference from other Bluetooth devices, Firmware glitch on Nest or phone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: N5 occurs during initial setup or re-pairing.
- Move closer: Stand within a few feet of the Nest thermostat with your phone.
- Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone's settings and that the Google Home or Nest app has Bluetooth permissions.
- Restart both devices: Reboot your phone and restart the Nest by holding the ring for 10 seconds.
- Clear app cache: On your phone, clear the cache/data for the Google Home/Nest app and try setup again.
If N5 continues, try using a different phone or tablet for setup.
