How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the thermostat front panel.
- Step 1 – Clean surface:
- Gently clean the screen with a microfiber cloth; remove any screen protectors.
- Step 2 – Reboot:
- Power cycle the thermostat at the breaker.
- Step 3 – Check ribbon cable (advanced):
- Remove the front panel and inspect the touch panel ribbon cable connection to the PCB.
- Reseat if loose.
- Step 4 – Replace front panel or thermostat:
- If specific areas remain dead, the touch sensor grid is damaged; replace the front panel assembly or entire thermostat.
