- Measure floor or room temperature with an independent thermometer.
- If it is normal but display shows "Hi", the sensor or configuration is faulty.
- 2. Check sensor wiring:
- Inspect the sensor terminals for shorted wires or stray strands.
- 3. Measure resistance:
- Disconnect sensor and measure resistance; a very low value indicates a short.
- 4. Replace sensor:
- Install a new Heatit NTC sensor and ensure it is correctly positioned between heating cables.
