Thermostat powers on but does not heat even when setpoint is higher than room temperature

  • Look for the heating symbol on the display indicating that the thermostat is calling for heat.
• 3. Inspect load wiring:
  • Remove the thermostat and verify that the floor heating or heater is connected to the correct load terminals.
• 4. Measure output voltage:
  • With power ON and heat demand present, measure voltage at the load terminals.
  • If there is no voltage, the internal output stage may be faulty.
• 5. Check floor temperature limit:
  • Ensure the max floor temperature setting is not too low, preventing heating.
• 6. Replace thermostat if output is defective:
  • If wiring and settings are correct but no output is present, replace the thermostat.
