Possible Causes

Setpoint too low, Max floor temperature limit too low, Heating cable wattage insufficient, Floor sensor mispositioned deeper in screed

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Configuration changes can be made without opening the unit.

Steps to troubleshoot:

  • 1. Increase setpoint:
    • Raise the room or floor setpoint gradually and monitor comfort.
  • 2. Check max floor temperature:
    • In the installer menu, verify that max floor temp is not set too low (e.g. 20–22°C).
    • Increase within safe limits for your floor covering.
  • 3. Verify heating cable power:
    • Check the installed floor heating wattage per m² against room heat loss; low wattage may not be sufficient.
  • 4. Sensor depth:
    • If the sensor is buried too deep, it may read warmer than the surface; consider using room sensor control with floor limit.
