E11
Heatmiser
RF Communication Error
Thermostat shows E11 and fails to pair with NeoHub or RF receivers
Advertisements
Possible Causes
RF interference from other devices, Thermostat too far from NeoHub or RF switch, Incorrect pairing procedure, Faulty RF module in thermostat or hub
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No mains wiring changes are required for pairing, but do not open RF devices while powered.
Steps:
- Move the NeoHub or RF receiver closer to the thermostat during pairing.
- Turn off or move away strong RF sources (DECT phones, baby monitors, Wi‑Fi routers) temporarily during pairing.
- Follow the exact pairing sequence in the Heatmiser manual: usually entering pairing mode on the hub/receiver first, then on the thermostat.
- Reset RF settings on the thermostat (factory reset RF) and attempt pairing again.
- If multiple thermostats fail to pair with the same hub, suspect the NeoHub or RF receiver; if only one thermostat fails, its RF module may be faulty.
