How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Steps:
- 1. Update app: Install the latest version of the Ideal app on your smartphone.
- 2. Reset cloud link: On the thermostat, remove any existing account link in the connectivity settings, then restart the device.
- 3. Correct pairing mode: Put the thermostat into 'Add to app' or 'Provisioning' mode as described in the manual before scanning QR codes or entering serial numbers.
- 4. Check Ideal service status: Verify via Ideal's website or support channels that there is no ongoing cloud outage.
- 5. Contact support: If the thermostat is still bound to a previous owner account, Ideal support may need to release it.
