Possible Causes

Internet connection down, Router blocking outbound ports, Incorrect date/time on router or thermostat, Immergas cloud service temporarily unavailable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No electrical work required.

  • Step 1 – Check internet: Verify that other devices on the same network can access the internet. If not, troubleshoot your ISP or router.
  • Step 2 – Router settings: Ensure your router is not blocking outbound connections or using strict firewall rules that could block the thermostat. Enable UPnP if recommended by Immergas.
  • Step 3 – Time and date: Confirm the thermostat and router have correct date and time settings. Incorrect time can cause SSL/TLS connection failures.
  • Step 4 – Reboot and wait: Restart the thermostat and router, then wait 10–15 minutes. Sometimes E08 clears after the device re-establishes a secure connection.
  • Step 5 – Check Immergas status: Consult Immergas support or their website to see if there is a known cloud outage.
  • Step 6 – Factory reset network: If the issue persists, reset the thermostat’s network settings and re-pair it with the app.
