Possible Causes
Sensor calibration data corrupted, Firmware bug, Strong heat source or draft affecting sensor, Internal NTC drift outside calibration range
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No high-voltage work required, but avoid opening the unit if under warranty.
- Step 1 – Check environment: Ensure the thermostat is not near heat sources (radiators, TVs, lamps) or in a draft from windows or doors.
- Step 2 – Compare with reference: Place a reliable thermometer near the thermostat and compare readings.
- Step 3 – Adjust offset: In the thermostat settings, look for a temperature offset or calibration menu. Adjust by the difference measured with the reference thermometer.
- Step 4 – Firmware update: Using the Immergas app, check if a firmware update is available for the thermostat and install it.
- Step 5 – Factory reset: If E10 persists, perform a factory reset and reconfigure the thermostat.
- Step 6 – Replace thermostat: If the sensor remains out of range even after calibration, the internal NTC is likely defective and the thermostat should be replaced.
