Thermostat shows E17 and cannot detect the Immergas radio receiver or gateway (for wireless models)

Safety: Disconnect mains before moving or opening the gateway device.

• Step 1 – Check power: Ensure the Immergas radio receiver/gateway LED is on and the device is powered.
• Step 2 – Reduce distance: Move the gateway closer to the thermostat, avoiding thick walls or metal objects between them.
• Step 3 – Avoid interference: Keep the gateway away from Wi‑Fi routers, cordless phones, and microwave ovens that may cause interference.
• Step 4 – Re-pair devices: Follow the Immergas pairing procedure to re-link the thermostat and gateway (press pairing buttons or use app as specified).
• Step 5 – Replace gateway: If E17 persists and another thermostat can also not connect, the gateway may be defective and should be replaced.
