Schedule disabled or set to hold, Incorrect time or day settings, Corrupted schedule data, RTC backup failure causing resets after power loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No electrical work required.
- Step 1 – Check hold status: Ensure the thermostat is not in permanent hold or vacation mode. Cancel hold if active.
- Step 2 – Verify time and date: Set the correct time, day, and time zone, or enable automatic time sync if available.
- Step 3 – Review schedule: Go through each period (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep, etc.) and confirm times and setpoints are correct and enabled.
- Step 4 – Clear and reprogram: Delete the existing schedule and re‑enter it from scratch to clear any corrupted entries.
- Step 5 – Check backup power: If schedule resets after power outages, inspect or replace the backup battery/supercapacitor if your model uses one.
