Thermostat display is on but screen is blank or frozen; no response to touch or buttons.

Safety first: No wiring changes are needed, but do not repeatedly cycle the breaker.

Steps to try:

• Soft reset: If the model supports it, hold the main button or touch area for 10–15 seconds to trigger a soft reboot.
• Power cycle: Turn OFF the breaker for 2 minutes, then ON, and wait for the thermostat to fully boot.
• Check for firmware update: If the device recovers, use the Mysa app to check for and install any firmware updates.

If the thermostat frequently freezes or never recovers from a blank/frozen screen, the MCU or memory may be failing. Replace the thermostat.
