Schedule or Override Logic Misconfiguration
Heating turns on at unexpected times or ignores the manual override set in the app.

Possible Causes
Multiple schedules or away modes overlapping, Manual override duration misunderstood, Third‑party integrations sending setpoints, Misconfigured zone control with valves and thermostat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is usually a configuration issue, not hardware failure.
- Review schedule: In the Netatmo app, check all schedules and away/vacation settings for overlapping high setpoints.
- Check override duration: Confirm whether manual changes are set as temporary or permanent and adjust according to your needs.
- Inspect integrations: Temporarily disable third‑party integrations (HomeKit, IFTTT, etc.) to see if unexpected commands stop.
- Zone configuration: Ensure that Smart Radiator Valves and the thermostat are assigned to the correct rooms and zones so that one device does not unexpectedly trigger heating for another area.
If behavior remains unpredictable after simplifying schedules and disabling integrations, contact Netatmo support with screenshots of your configuration.
