Smart Radiator Valve makes loud grinding or clicking noises during operation.

• Remove and inspect valve: Unscrew the Smart Radiator Valve from the adapter and check for debris or damage inside the coupling area.
• Free radiator pin: Press the radiator’s metal pin in and out to ensure it moves smoothly. Lubrication is generally not required; just free the movement.
• Re‑fit correctly: Re‑attach the valve straight and tight to avoid misalignment.
• Re‑calibrate: Run a calibration from the app and listen. Occasional soft motor noise is normal; loud grinding indicates internal wear.

If loud noises persist and the valve fails to regulate temperature correctly, the internal motor/gearbox is likely damaged; replace the Smart Radiator Valve.
