Thermostat display is on but buttons or touch interface do not respond.

Safety: Do not pry open the PCB unless you are qualified.

• Reboot thermostat: Remove one battery for 30 seconds, reinsert, and wait for restart. Test buttons again.
• Check for physical obstruction: Ensure the thermostat casing is not warped or pressing on the buttons. Gently press around the edges to see if buttons free up.
• Clean exterior: Wipe the front panel with a slightly damp, lint‑free cloth to remove dirt that may affect touch sensitivity.
• Use app as workaround: Control temperature via the Netatmo app while arranging for thermostat replacement if the hardware remains unresponsive.

Persistent non‑responsive controls indicate a failed keypad or touch sensor; replace the thermostat.
