Thermostat frequently loses connection to the Relay; app shows the thermostat going offline and online repeatedly.

Safety: No mains work is required for these steps.

• Replace thermostat batteries: Install fresh alkaline AA batteries to ensure strong transmission power.
• Reduce distance: Move the thermostat closer to the Relay or relocate the Relay to a more central position.
• Minimize interference: Keep the Relay away from Wi‑Fi routers, cordless phone bases, and other RF emitters by at least 30 cm.
• Test proximity: Temporarily place the thermostat next to the Relay. If the link becomes stable, range or interference is the issue; adjust placement permanently.

If dropouts continue even at close range with new batteries, either the thermostat or Relay RF hardware is defective and the affected unit should be replaced.
