Possible Causes
Stuck TRV pin on radiator, Burned-out motor in Ngenic smart radiator valve, Low battery in valve actuator, Misaligned actuator on valve body
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Radiator valves may be hot. Use gloves. No mains voltage is present at battery-powered actuators.
- Replace batteries: Open the Ngenic smart radiator valve and install fresh batteries of the specified type.
- Check mounting: Ensure the actuator is firmly screwed onto the valve body and correctly adapted (use the proper adapter ring if required).
- Free the valve pin: Remove the actuator and gently press the radiator valve pin in and out with a blunt tool until it moves freely.
- Re-calibrate: Use the app to run a calibration or ‘valve test’ so the actuator can learn the open/close positions.
If E11 remains on a specific valve after these steps, the Ngenic smart radiator valve actuator is likely defective and should be replaced.
