Thermostat display is on but unresponsive or very slow; touch or buttons lag significantly.

Safety: No need to access wiring for this symptom.

• Soft reboot: Restart the thermostat from the settings menu.
• Clear logs (if available): Use maintenance options to clear diagnostic logs or cached data.
• Factory reset: If lag persists, perform a factory reset and reconfigure the device.
• Check mounting location: Ensure the thermostat is not installed in direct sunlight or above a radiator, which can overheat the electronics.

If the interface remains sluggish after reset and proper cooling, the main PCB may be failing and the thermostat should be replaced.
