• Place a reliable thermometer near the thermostat and compare readings after 15–20 minutes.
• Check thermostat settings for any temperature offset or calibration; adjust to match the reference thermometer within a small margin.
• Verify that the thermostat is not configured to use a remote sensor if none is connected; change sensor source to internal if necessary.
• Ensure the thermostat is not exposed to direct sunlight, drafts from vents, or mounted on an exterior wall; if it is, consider relocating or using a Schneider Electric remote room sensor.
• If readings remain erratic or far off even after calibration, the internal sensor is likely faulty; replace the thermostat.
