How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not pry aggressively on the display; it can crack.
Steps:
- Attempt a soft reboot using any available reset option in the app or by holding the power/menu button combination described in the manual.
- If the thermostat is powered from 24 VAC only, remove it from the wall for 30 seconds to fully power it down, then reattach.
- If touch remains unresponsive but the display shows normal information, the touch panel or button contacts may be damaged; inspect for cracks or moisture ingress.
- Check that the display module is fully seated on the wall plate or connector pins.
- If reseating does not restore function, the display/touch assembly must be replaced (usually by replacing the entire thermostat head unit).
