Possible Causes

Sensor reading below minimum supported temperature, Faulty NTC sensor giving under-range value, Thermostat installed in unheated space (garage, attic) below spec, Loose sensor connection on Tuya PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power if you open the thermostat.

Steps to troubleshoot:

  • Verify the thermostat is installed in a location within its rated operating temperature (commonly 0–50°C / 32–122°F).
  • Move the thermostat to a more suitable indoor location if necessary.
  • Inspect and reseat the internal sensor connector or check solder joints if accessible.
  • Measure sensor resistance and compare to the NTC chart; if it is much higher than expected for the ambient temperature, the sensor may be open or out of spec and should be replaced.
  • After repair or relocation, restore power and confirm that the reading returns to normal and 'Lo' disappears.
