How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front panel.
Steps to troubleshoot:
- Power-cycle the thermostat at the breaker to clear any temporary firmware freeze.
- If still unresponsive, remove the front cover and reseat the ribbon cable between the front panel and main PCB.
- Inspect for physical damage to the glass or touch surface; replace the front panel if cracked.
- Check for signs of liquid ingress; clean and dry thoroughly if present.
- If Wi-Fi control works but local buttons never respond, the touch controller or button PCB is likely defective; replace the front UI module or thermostat.
