Steps to improve wireless stability:

• Reposition devices: Move the gateway to a more central, elevated location away from the floor and large metal objects. Avoid placing it behind TVs or inside cabinets.
• Reduce interference: Keep the thermostat and gateway away from cordless phones, baby monitors, and microwave ovens. Change your Wi‑Fi channel on the router to a less congested one.
• Short‑range test: Temporarily place the thermostat close to the gateway. If stability improves, range or obstacles are the issue.
• Consider repeaters: In large homes, use a compatible Vaillant repeater or reposition the gateway closer to the thermostat.

If dropouts persist even at close range, the radio hardware may be defective and the affected device should be replaced.
