Room temperature shown on the Vaillant smart thermostat differs significantly from other thermometers in the same room.

• 1. Compare readings: Place a reliable thermometer next to the thermostat and compare after 30 minutes.
• 2. Check location: Ensure the thermostat is not near doors, windows, radiators, or electronics that emit heat.
• 3. Apply offset: If your Vaillant model supports it, adjust the temperature offset in the settings to match the reference thermometer.
• 4. Relocate thermostat: If the location is unsuitable, have the thermostat moved to a better representative position in the main living area.
• 5. Replace if extreme: If readings are wildly inaccurate and do not respond to offset, the internal sensor may be faulty and the thermostat should be replaced.
