How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No electrical risk beyond standard router use. Do not open network hardware.

  • Check internet: Verify that other devices (phone, laptop) can access the internet using the same Wi‑Fi network.
  • Check app status: Look for any service status notifications from Vokera regarding cloud outages.
  • Restart router and thermostat: Power-cycle your router, wait until it is fully online, then power-cycle the thermostat.
  • Verify time and region: In the thermostat settings, ensure the date, time, and region are set correctly, as some cloud services require accurate time.
  • Test local control: Confirm that the thermostat can still control the boiler locally. If local control works but E05 persists, the issue is network/cloud-related, not with the heating system.
  • Contact support if prolonged: If the error continues for more than 24 hours with a working internet connection, contact Vokera technical support.
