Vokera Programming / schedule configuration fault

Heating does not come on at scheduled times, but works when manually overridden

Possible Causes

Incorrect day or time set on thermostat, Schedule periods not enabled or set to very low temperatures, Holiday or frost protection mode active, Misunderstanding of multi-zone or multi-period programming

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No electrical risk; this is a configuration issue.

  • Check date and time: Ensure the thermostat's clock and day of week are correct. If available, enable automatic time sync via Wi‑Fi.
  • Review schedule: Go through each day and confirm that comfort periods are enabled and set to the desired temperature. Many thermostats have separate weekday/weekend schedules.
  • Disable holiday mode: Make sure any holiday, away, or frost-only mode is turned off.
  • Test next event: Set a test schedule event a few minutes in the future and watch whether the thermostat changes setpoint and calls for heat.
  • Factory reset if needed: If the schedule seems corrupted or confusing, perform a factory reset and reprogram from scratch.
