Thermostat plastic housing is cracked or damaged after impact

Safety first: If the casing is cracked, internal live or low-voltage parts may be exposed. Switch off power at the fused spur before touching.

• Inspect for exposure: Check whether any internal components or wiring are visible through the crack. If so, do not operate the thermostat until replaced.
• Check mounting: Ensure the wall plate is still firmly attached to the wall and not pulling on the thermostat body.
• Replace thermostat: Cosmetic cracks can quickly become safety issues. Replace the Vokera smart thermostat to restore full insulation and protection.
• Prevent recurrence: Consider relocating the thermostat away from high-traffic areas or door swings.
