Possible Causes
Corrupted pairing data between thermostat and Heat HubR, Incomplete setup in Wiser app, Thermostat previously bound to another Heat HubR, Firmware bug in pairing process
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No mains work is required.
- Remove device from system: In the Wiser app, go to Settings > Devices, select the affected thermostat, and choose Remove.
- Factory reset thermostat: Follow the Wiser by Drayton instructions to perform a factory reset on the room thermostat (usually involves holding specific buttons while inserting batteries). This clears old pairing data.
- Re-add thermostat: In the app, select Add Device and follow the on-screen steps to pair the thermostat to the current Heat HubR.
- Check firmware updates: Ensure the Heat HubR and thermostat firmware are up to date via the Wiser app, as updates often resolve pairing issues.
If E06 persists even after factory reset and re-pairing, the thermostat's memory or RF module may be defective and replacement is recommended.
