Possible Causes
No 24VAC power at furnace control board, Loose R or C wires at Wyze base, Blown low-voltage fuse on control board, Wyze C-Wire Adapter wired incorrectly preventing detection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power to the furnace/air handler at the breaker before opening panels or touching wiring.
- Check furnace power: Ensure the furnace service switch is ON and the breaker is not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect low-voltage fuse: On the furnace control board, locate and inspect the low-voltage fuse. Replace with the same rating if blown.
- Verify R and C at thermostat: Remove the Wyze display and confirm that the R and C wires are fully seated in their terminals on the wall plate.
- Check Wyze C-Wire Adapter: If used, confirm all connections match the Wyze wiring diagram exactly. Miswiring can prevent the thermostat from detecting the equipment.
- Restore power and re-run detection: After correcting issues, restore power and use the Wyze app to re-run equipment detection or setup. E60 should clear once the thermostat senses 24VAC and control circuits.
