How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No electrical work is required.

  • Use 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz network you intend to use for the thermostat.
  • Enable Bluetooth and location: Turn on Bluetooth and location services on your phone and grant the Wyze app all requested permissions.
  • Reset pairing mode: Follow Wyze’s instructions to put the thermostat back into pairing or setup mode, then retry the add-device process.
  • Restart phone and thermostat: Reboot your phone and power cycle the thermostat by removing and reattaching the display.
