Possible Causes
Empty fuel tank or closed fuel supply valve, Clogged fuel filter, Air in fuel line, Faulty electric fuel pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, disconnect the battery, and keep all ignition sources away from fuel. Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Verify fuel supply: Check the fuel gauge and confirm there is adequate gasoline, diesel, or LP/NG supply as specified for your A-iPower model. Ensure any manual shutoff valves on the fuel line are fully open.
- Inspect fuel lines: Look for kinks, cracks, or wet spots indicating leaks. Replace damaged hoses immediately.
- Replace or clean fuel filter: Locate the in-line fuel filter or cartridge filter. Close the fuel valve, remove the filter, and install a new OEM-spec A-iPower fuel filter. Ensure arrow direction matches fuel flow.
- Prime the system (if equipped): Use the manual primer bulb or priming function on the controller to purge air from the fuel line until fuel flows steadily.
- Check electric fuel pump operation: During a start attempt, listen for the fuel pump humming. If silent, check the fuel pump fuse and relay in the control panel. Replace blown fuses only with the same rating.
- If E03 persists: The fuel pump, fuel solenoid, or carburetor/injector may be faulty. Professional diagnosis is recommended to avoid fuel system damage.
